1 · Who runs this server

PlanetSMP is run privately by Niklas Mario Bergmann, Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Straße 14, 17235 Neustrelitz, Germany. Full details are in the legal notice.

PlanetSMP is not affiliated with, endorsed or reviewed by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.

2 · Access

Playing is free. A valid Minecraft account (Java or Bedrock) is required.

There is no entitlement to play. Access can be restricted or withdrawn if the rules are broken.

A minimum age of 13 applies, as stated in the server rules.

3 · Rules

The server rules apply in their current version. They form part of these terms and are available in game at any time via /rules.

Instructions from the team must be followed. If you consider a penalty wrong, raise a ticket on Discord rather than arguing in chat.

4 · Penalties

Depending on severity, a warning, mute, kick or ban is possible, temporary or permanent. The stages are listed in the rules.

A ban gives no claim to a refund of purchases, progress or items.

5 · Purchases

Ranks, VIP and the battle pass are bought exclusively through a ticket on Discord. Payments to individual players or alleged team members are never legitimate.

Purchased benefits are tied to the player account and are not transferable.

Once fully unlocked, the right of withdrawal is excluded as far as the law permits. Minors need the consent of a parent or guardian.

6 · Player content

Each player is responsible for their own builds, signs, names and chat messages.

The team may remove or reset content that breaks the rules or applicable law without notice.

7 · Availability and data

The server runs without any guarantee of availability. Maintenance, outages and data loss are possible.

There is no entitlement to the preservation of builds, items or progress. Claims of inactive players are removed automatically after 30 days.

Which data is processed is set out in the privacy policy.

8 · Liability

Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, and to injury to life, body or health. Otherwise liability is excluded as far as the law permits.

9 · Changes

These terms and the server rules may be adjusted. Changes are announced on Discord and apply from publication.

German law applies.
