In the auction house you offer goods, with an order you look for them.
You reach every player at once, without renting a shop.
The auction house
The auction house shows everything currently for sale. You can offer at a fixed price or allow bids. Eight offers may run at the same time. When someone buys, you get the coins right away.
- Take the item into your hand.
- Type
/ah sellfollowed by your price. - Check your offer in the overview.
- Wait for the sale, the coins arrive on their own.
/ah- Opens the auction house.
/ah sell- Offers the item in your hand at a fixed price.
/ah bid- Starts an auction with a starting price and a duration.
/ah watch- Puts an item on your watchlist or shows the list.
/ah unwatch- Removes an item from the watchlist.
If you are after something rare, put it on the watchlist. As soon as somebody lists it, you get a message. The watch button also sits right in the menu.
Orders: jobs for other players
An order is a wanted advert. You write down what you need and what you pay. Other players see the order and deliver. Afterwards each side gets its part, goods or coins.
/order- Opens the list of all open orders.
/order create- Creates an order of your own.
On phone and console
On phone and console the auction house and the orders appear as a form. You tap an entry instead of clicking a slot in the chest.
What often goes wrong
A new offer is refused.
Eight offers are already running. Take one back or wait for a sale.
Your offer does not sell.
Search for the same goods in the auction house and compare. Usually the price is too high.
The goods you bought are not in your inventory.
Your inventory was full. Clear some space and collect the goods in the auction house.
