📱 Bedrock Support
Phone, tablet and console play on PlanetSMP with everyone else.
You do not need a PC to use everything on the server.
How to connect
- Update Minecraft to the latest version.
- Update your PlayStation, Xbox or Switch too if you play there.
- Enter
PlanetSMP.comas the server address. - Join. The server automatically puts a dot in front of your name.
Your name on Bedrock
Your name starts with a dot, for example .PlayerName. That is how the server knows you come from a phone or console. Spaces in your name become underscores. When you vote, enter the name with the dot. Without the dot the vote site cannot find you, and the reward never arrives.
What is new since 1 October 2026
- Custom items, furniture, cosmetics and custom mobs are now shown on Bedrock too.
- All menus come as a form instead of a chest.
- Custom textures, animals and plants look like they do on PC.
- Death messages name the weapon that was used.
You use a form with a single tap. The right click from PC is gone.
Small differences
The sidebar shows fewer lines on Bedrock than on PC. That is a Bedrock limit, not a server setting. The important numbers are still in there. You type commands into the chat window as usual. On console you open the chat with the D-pad to the right.
What often goes wrong
Your voting reward never arrives.
The dot in front of the name is missing. Enter `.YourName` and vote again.
The server will not let you in.
Your version is too old. Update Minecraft and your console, then try again.
A menu stays empty or does not open at all.
Leave the server and join again. If it stays broken, report it to support with the name of the menu.
