⛏️ Jobs & Earnings
A job pays you coins for work you do anyway.
With a job you earn on the side, without having to sell anything.
The six jobs
A job pays you coins for certain activities. You can only hold one job at a time. So pick the one that fits how you play.
- Farmer: harvest crops, breed and tame animals.
- Fisherman: pull fish and other catches out of the water.
- Hunter: kill monsters and pillagers.
- Miner: mine ores and stone.
- Weaponsmith: craft weapons and armour.
- Woodcutter: fell trees.
What an activity pays
| Activity | Job | Coins |
|---|---|---|
| Mine ancient debris | Miner | 4.00 |
| Mine emerald ore | Miner | 3.25 |
| Craft a diamond chestplate | Weaponsmith | 2.75 |
| Tame an animal | Farmer | 1.75 to 2.00 |
| Collect honey | Farmer | 1.00 |
| Harvest wheat | Farmer | 0.50 |
| Fell one log | Woodcutter | 0.15 to 0.23 |
Every level raises your earnings by 1 percent. At level 100 you earn almost double. Five jobs end at level 200, the miner ends at level 100.
- Open the job menu with
/jobs. - Read through the payouts of the six jobs.
- Pick one job and confirm.
- Start working, the coins arrive by themselves with every action.
/jobs- Opens the job menu with selection and level. Also:
/job
Only one job at a time. Before switching, think about whether losing your level is worth it.
On phone and console
On phone and console the job menu appears as a form. You tap the job in the list.
What often goes wrong
You get no coins for your work.
Check in the job menu whether the job matches the activity. A miner is not paid for felled trees.
The second job cannot be taken.
That is on purpose. You can only hold one job at a time and have to leave the old one first.
The miner stops rising at level 100.
That is the end of that ladder. Only the other five jobs go up to level 200.
