A map in your browser that shows the server in real time.
You use it to plan your building spot before you even set off.
The live map shows the whole world in your browser. It updates continuously. You reach it at https://map.planetsmp.com.
What you see on the map
- The world exactly as it is built right now.
- The borders of every claim.
- The players who have made themselves visible.
- Country borders and country names you can switch on and off.
Country names are switched off at first. You turn them on yourself in the map settings.
What you use it for
- Find a free building spot without walking for hours.
- Check whether the country you want already belongs to someone.
- Plan your route to a warp or to the market.
- Look up how large your own claim has actually grown.
Visiting someone else's claim
- Click a claim on the map.
- Copy the visit command the window offers you.
- Paste it into the chat in game and press Enter.
Commands
/map- Shows you the link to the map in chat.
/showmap- Makes you visible on the map. VIP only.
/hidemap- Hides you on the map. VIP only.
On phone and console
On a console you cannot copy anything from the browser into the game. Open the map on a phone instead and type the command out.
What often goes wrong
You cannot find yourself on the map.
Only players who made themselves visible appear. Switch yourself visible in game while you are online.
Your new house is missing on the map.
The map still has to redraw that area. Reload the page in a few minutes.
The copied visit command does not get you there.
Check that you pasted the whole command. During a fight every teleport is blocked.
